Aquaman 2 - Slug Pirate

Hi folks! Here’s another fun character that I designed and sculpted for the film ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,’ guided by James Wan’s notes.
Each character had to be scruffy, scumbag, sea-dwelling cowboys/pirates. Despite their menacing appearance, the overall tone was meant to be fun. We also aimed for a retro aesthetic and incorporated steampunk elements into the designs.
Sculpted in ZBrush, textured in ZBrush and Substance Painter, rendered in Blender, and composited in Photoshop.
