Fantastic Beasts - MATAGOT Creature Design

I was helping with the final look of the Matagot Cats for the film 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald' (2018) at Framestore.
Artist Dan Baker already did awesome design and exploration work on them before I came on board. Initially the Matagots were supposed to be more ghost-like. I did a few other variations which I hope to be able to share an other time.
The work can also be seen in the book 'The Art of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald'.
